EVENING NIGHTCAP: Why Goopy & Madonna uncoupled. Tension at Caza Bezos-Sanchez?

 

 ►Back in the 1990s, Madonna and Goopy became besties. They hung out together, both married Brits, and they even wore red strings to signify their faux embrace of the Kabbalah trend which was all the rage. Then, in the early 2000s, they stopped braiding each other's hair and kaput: friendship out the window like a bad fart. Fast forward to today. According to Amy Odell author of Gwyneth: The Biography, she spills the tea on why. It all goes back to an incident that happened when Goopy and her then husband, Chris Martin, were on vacay at an island for the entitled rich. The story goes that Madonna seemed to know where Goopy & Chris went and she conveniently ran into them. Oh, how Single White Female of her. The couple found this strange but didn't think twice about it. Madonna insisted they join her for dinner, with her daughter Lourdes (around 10 yrs old at the time, if my math is correct) and other guests. During dinner, Madonna went all Mommie Dearest Joan Crawford on young Lourdes to the disgust of Goopy, Chris, and guests. Amy Odell wrote: 

"Paltrow’s husband (Chris Martin from 2003 to 2016) —said, “I can’t be around this woman anymore. She’s awful.’ The author concludes, “Gwyneth agreed that Madonna was toxic and ended the friendship.” She writes that the incident occurred “a few years” after Paltrow gave birth to her son Moses in 2006. 

Odell goes on to say that while Paltrow and Madonna have never publicly addressed their fallout, Goopy did throw some shade at Mommie Dearest Madonna in 2010 during an interview with British Vogue. During the interview, Goopy expressed her relief when Madonna stopped using their mutual personal trainer, Tracy Anderson. According to the article Goopy said, "Yeah, it’s good that [Tracy] doesn’t train Madonna any more. It was too much,” she told the outlet. “She keeps people waiting—it takes up your whole day.” Read More

Comment: So, Madonna is the modern day version of Joan Crawford and Lourdes is Christina Crawford. That helps explain a few things about them. I always got the feeling there was something sad about  Lourdes. She seems to always be trying to emulate her mom, especially with the scandalous way she dresses. A ploy to get her attention? Who knows. IMO, the 28 yr old Lourdes seems to be driftless. One minute she claims to be a singer, then a model, then an "actress", then a designer. Now that I think about it,  I can't recall ever seeing a photo of Lourdes smiling. She wears a permanent scowl. Anyhoo, Madonna had a public fall out with her son, Rocco, who's dad is Guy Ritchie. I wonder if Madonna's inner Joan Crawford had anything to do with that. Makes me wonder what the hell her adopted kids lived through.

 

► At the recent wedding of Jeff Bozo and the flotation device known as Lauren Sanchez, the internet was buzzing over why  flavor of the month, Sydney Sweeney, was in attendance. Well, seems like she was invited by Bozo, who is investing a shitload of money on Sydney's lingerie line.  This collaboration is not sitting well with Silicone Sanchez. According to inside sources:

"There’s definitely some tension. Lauren didn’t realize just how involved Jeff was in this. 
It’s… awkward.”

The internet is reminding everyone that Bozo and Silicone Tits cheated on their significant others when they hooked up. Silicone Sanchez and Bozo's ex, Mackenzie Scott, were casually friendly with each other since Lauren and Bozo had a business relationship that turned into mattress gymnastics.  Is karma cooking up a pot of revenge stew for these cheaters? Comment:  I can see Lauren seething when Bozo tells Lauren, "sorry hon, I don't have time to put oil on your sunbathing ass. I have a  meeting with Sydney to go over designs". It's hilarious to read and imagine that Lauren may be feeling the pangs of jealousy over Bozo's close involvement with Sydney's lingerie line.
